I buy and sell vintage watches-- mostly Hamiltons & Bulovas from the 1930s through the 1960s. I deal in machines that you wear on your wrist. They are understated. Art Deco cases are little pieces of architecture. If you like modern watches that look like tunafish cans with worms inside, you will be disappointed.
Vintage watches are smaller than their modern counterparts. We sell a lot to women who want something other than grandma's cord watch. Yes, all my watches look similar. I buy what I like. They have have numbers and are easy to read. I have worn them for days, weeks, or months myself. I know their stories. I know they work.
You can buy watches on eBay. As Hunter Thompson said, "Buy the ticket, take the ride." You can click on the images below and go to my eBay listing. Or, you could sit down in person over a cup of coffee and try on a bunch of watches. I'll tell you about the watch and make any necessary adjustments. And you will save about 25% over the eBay price!
Watches are an intimate gift. Vintage watches are even more so. In the 20th century, watches were usually gifts within families, romantic relationships, or presentations for recognition or retirement. If you bought a watch for yourself, it was something you saved for and admired. They were, and are, very special. These watches we offer are ready to wear and ready to gift.
We will arrange meet for coffee in a public place in Scottsboro. Ruby Tuesday works well. We accept cash, credit card, PayPal, and checks with Alabama ID.
